Another Batch

Another batch of accent pots is nearly there, they are already glazed and ready to be fired. All I need to do now is clean the mess after glazing:-) load the kiln and fire up. I will keep you updated with the results.

Glazing Time Part 3 Kiln Opening

Few photos of kiln opening ,some pieces are still hot but I am happy so far with this batch as all of the pots survive the firing without cracking or warping and the glazes look good too. I am  especially happy with the big blue oval pot which  is 56 cm x 42 cm x 10 cm. when all of the pieces are finally out I will post more photos.

Glazing Time; part 2

All pots are already glazed and packet up in the kiln, so now they are ready to be fired up.

Now lets the magic begin:-)

I will keep you updated. Once the firing is finished and pots are cold I will upload photos of them.

Glazing Time

Just starting to get ready for glazing a batch of accent pots that i have already bisque fired, all the glazes are already mixed and only need to be applied to the pots, and then they will go back to the kiln for glaze firing.
